Pokémon Spire-like games are not one game
Search volume piles onto “Pokémon auto” names. PokeSpire is not the next entry in that line. It is a separate card game that happens to borrow a map.

What I checked
I read pokemon-auto-chess.com, pokemon-auto-spire.com, pokelike.xyz, and the PokeSpire itch page on 2026-10-28. Auto Spire’s own line is “A mod of Pokemon Auto Chess.” PokeSpire’s author is barbecue-citrus-varmint. Those are different people.
I could not find a PokeSpire gameplay video. The video on this page is Doggo EXP comparing Auto Spire and Pokelike, uploaded 2026-06-30, before this game existed. I am not presenting it as PokeSpire footage.
Two lines, not one arrow
Auto-battler line: Pokemon Auto Chess (Keldaan and Curry, open source, GPLv3, browser) then Pokemon Auto Spire, which calls itself a mod of that game built on v6.10. Card line: Slay the Spire (Mega Crit, full release January 2019) then two independent Pokémon games, PokeSpire and Pokelike. Do not draw Auto Chess → Auto Spire → PokeSpire. Their pages identify separate projects; no shared codebase is documented.

Which one you wanted
If you want the board to fight for you, start at Pokemon Auto Chess or read how Auto Spire differs. If you want to spend energy on move cards and throw a ball, stay on PokeSpire. If you want a story mode plus a battle tower, see Pokelike.
Spelling variants I saw in keyword data — autospire, auto-spire, auto spyer — point at Pokemon Auto Spire, not at this card game.
