They are not the same game, not the same developer, and not sequels. PokeSpire is a hand of cards. Pokemon Auto Spire is an auto-battler with a floor map.

What I checked
I opened pokemon-auto-spire.com on 2026-10-28. The page says it is a mod of Pokemon Auto Chess, built on v6.10, and shows v1.12.0. Sign-in options are Google, email, or guest. Guest progress is described as unsaved.
Humble Scotsman’s 2026-10-09 video describes Auto Spire as Pokémon plus Slay the Spire floors, “based a bit of the pokemon auto chess system.” That sentence is about Auto Spire, not about PokeSpire.

Why the names collide
Both are free, both run in a browser, both use Pokémon, and both use the word Spire. Google’s related questions have answered “pokespire” with Auto Spire. Ranked ladders, ELO, and Auto Spire’s card pool are not features of this card game. I am not copying Auto Spire’s guides. Their site is pokemon-auto-spire.com.
